Scheduling & Appointment Requests

Thank you for your interest in Child & Adult Psychiatry of North Texas. We are a small-scale, focused psychiatric practice serving adolescents and young adults ages 12–25 years old, (with care for younger children offered selectively based on clinical needs and availability). At this time, we are by appointment only and are not able to accommodate walk-ins or emergencies.

We do not provide emergency or crisis services. If you are experiencing a psychiatric or medical emergency or are in immediate danger, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.

How to Request an Appointment

At our practice, we use a request-and-review process rather than automatic scheduling. This allows us to make sure that we can provide the appropriate care for each patient’s needs and available capacity.

To request an appointment:

  1. Click “Request Appointment” and complete the appointment request form.
  2. Submit the pre-screening form with your contact information and clinical needs.
  3. Our team will review your request and contact you with a confirmation or next steps.

Please understand:

  • Submitting a request does not guarantee an appointment.
  • Requests are reviewed by the doctor to ensure an appropriate clinical fit and scheduling availability.

Practice Scope

We currently focus on:

  • Psychiatric evaluation
  • Medication management
  • Limited therapy/skills-based work

We do not provide emergency services or crisis evaluations. If your concern is urgent, please seek care through your emergency services provider.

In-Person & Virtual Options

  • Most appointments are offered via telehealth (HIPAA-compliant video).
  • In-person visits are available but limited and arranged on a case-by-case basis.

For questions about scheduling or if you need help with the request process, please contact us at 469-960-3861 or info@capnorthtexas.com.
