Ahmed Montaser, M.D. (CEO& Founding Psychiatrist)

Dr. Montaser is a dual-board certified psychiatrist by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both General Adult as well as Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. With over 15 years of clinical experience, he has had the opportunity to work with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds and in a variety of settings. Dr. Montaser speaks both English and Arabic fluently, making him accessible to a wide range of patients. Dr. Montaser takes a whole person approach to Psychiatry, looking at the biological, psychological and social factors that Impact mental health. He focuses on offering care on evidence in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment, making sure to listen to and address each patient's unique needs.

Azza Elrefaey, M.A. (Parent Management Coach)

Azza Elrefaey is a certified Parent Management Training (PMT) coach at our practice. She is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (Child Track) at the University of North Texas and is a Fellow with the National Board for Certified Counselors Minority Fellowship Program.


Azza has received formal training and certification in Parent Management Training, an evidence-based intervention designed to help parents manage behavioral challenges in children—particularly those related to ADHD. In her role, she works directly with families to teach practical, effective tools for improving child behavior, reducing parent stress, and building stronger parent-child relationships. Her coaching has helped many families gain confidence in managing difficult behaviors and creating more positive, structured home environments.


In addition to her clinical training, Azza holds a Master's degree in Second Language Acquisition, Policy, and Culture from the University of Southern Indiana. She also has a background in education and language instruction, which enhances her ability to work with families from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Azza is fluent in Arabic and English and brings a thoughtful, culturally sensitive approach to her work with children and caregivers.

Kristi Hermoso (Administrative Assistant)

Kristi brings a wealth of expertise and dedication to our practice, backed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and more than several years of experience in healthcare administration.

Throughout her career, Kristi has demonstrated exceptional skill and commitment, earning her the recognition as the Most Outstanding Employee, an accolade that speaks volumes of her hardworking, smart, and resourceful nature.
